At John Wesley, there are many ways for people of all ages to worship God through the arts, specifically through music. We have a Chancel Choir, Hand Bell Choir, Youth Music Program and Children’s Choir that meet regularly and share in presentation on a monthly or even weekly basis.

The Chancel Choir offers a way for you to worship God and share your musical talents with others. This enthusiastic group sings a wide array of anthems and hymns, receives vocal training and enjoys the fellowship of other singers. The Chancel Choir practices weekly on Wednesday’s at 7:00 pm.

The Hand Bell Choir is perfect for anyone! You literally don’t even have to know how to read music (it wouldn’t hurt though). The Hand Bell Choir practices weekly on Wednesday’s at 5:45 pm.

The Youth Music Group is perfect for students (5th grade through High School) who have busy and flexible schedules but want to explore more about playing an instrument or singing. Students pick the songs and can display their gifts at the 10:30 am service, Old Time Gospel night, Christmas Eve service, etc. All are welcome at the Wednesday practices from 5:00-5:40 pm.

The Children’s Choir is perfect for children (1st through 4th grade) who like to sing, may have never sang or want to improve on their singing. There are also opportunities for children to play instruments (hand drums, keyboard, etc.) use dancing ribbons, bubbles and more. The Children’s Choir practices weekly on Wednesday’s from 4:30 to 5:00 pm and share their singing on Children’s Sunday (first Sunday of the month).

If you have special gifts or talents and would like to share your gift with the congregation or for more information on how to get involved with our Choirs, contact Music Director, Kari Fietek at
