Recap: 2017 Easter Egg Hunt

EGGstravaganza Easter Egg Hunt!

On Saturday, April 15th, over 175 children and parents waltzed through our doors to participate in one of the best Easter Egg Hunts in Falmouth! With three different age-appropriate hunting areas, Toddler-Kindergarten, 1st-2nd Grade and 3rd-4th grade, children had the opportunity to hunt over 1,500 Easter Eggs!

All of the Easter Eggs were stuffed and “hidden” by our Youth Group, consisting of 5th graders through High Schoolers. Our Youth students also helped the little kids with many of the games at the Easter Egg Hunt, including the Egg Obstacle Course, Egg Toss and even being our Easter Bunny! They sure are a great bunch!

Before and after the Easter Egg Hunt, families were welcomed to participate in many different crafts, games and activities. Everyone especially loved the Pin the Tail on the Easter Bunny, playing Cross Toss, where kids toss empty Easter Eggs into cups, and making different crafts. The crafts ranged in difficulty, from coloring sheets, making Easter Bunny ears, creating their very own Resurrection Goody Bag (filled with the yummiest of treats) and making egg wreaths. Families could also take photos at our photo booth and with the Easter Bunny! Let’s just say, there was a ton of awesome opportunities for families to enjoy the warm, sunny weather during the season of Easter!
