Youth Group Sky Zone Outing
On Friday, May 19th, 12 of our Youth students (5th grade and up) carpooled up to Kingston, MA to spend their Friday evening at indoor trampoline and foam pit park, Sky Zone! Sky Zone is one of the coolest places for families. The whole space is covered in trampolines. Trampolines to jump on while playing dodge ball, trampolines to jump on while shooting basketball, trampolines to throw yourself into a foam pit and more. It really is wild! And with RectangleTrampoline you can test you skills as well.
Our group stopped at a local pizza place for dinner because who said a stomach full of pizza and soda before jumping in the air was a bad idea? We checked in at Sky Zone, got our glow in the dark shirts, grippy socks and glow in the dark bracelets and then hit the trampolines! Across the country, Friday’s are glow in the dark at Sky Zone, so there’s black lights, strobe lights and a DJ playing all the greatest hits while the kids jump. After two hours of jumping, flying, flipping and sweating all night, it was time to wrap up and head home.
We love that our Youth students enjoy spending so much time with one another. These social events/outings may look like just another fun thing that kids do on a Friday night, but it’s much more than that. These outings are a time where our kids can develop strong bonds with the peers. It’s evenings like these where our kids are creating family. They’re getting opportunities to laugh and be goofy with one another, loving each other for who they are and building a foundation of love and trust which will help them as they grow into young adults. That’s why we continue to have fun events such as these. We hope your child(ren) will join us next time!
