Celebrate Christmas

Christmas is one of the most special times of the year. It is when we celebrate that God so
loved us that he came to earth as a human to show us how to live a full and meaningful life.
This year, especially, with the pandemic, we need more than ever for Jesus to be the Light
of the World. That’s why we invite you to join us this Christmas season, so that you might
know the hope, peace, joy and love Jesus brings.

Christmas Canticles | Wednesday, December 16th at 7:00 pm on livestream

This will be a night full of joyful noises! Tune in on Facebook, Youtube, or at johnwesleyumc.org!

Christmas Eve | Outdoor @ 4:00 pm and Livestream @ 7:00 pm

The first Christmas Eve service will be outdoors from 4:00-4:30 pm.

Come join us for this service where we can be socially distanced and still participate. Of
course, masks are required. We will have four stations for you to visit:
– A Live nativity with animals
– Scripture reading
– Caroling, led by our adult and bell choirs
– Creating a luminary to light up the church property
Please park in the back parking lot, and feel free to leisurely “stroll” through the four
stations. At 4:08pm and 4:18pm scripture readings will take place in front of the chapel. All other activities will be on–going. We ask only that you be considerate of others by not lingering too long at one station and to maintain a six-foot distance from anyone that is not in your family.
At 4:25pm we will all gather together (socially distanced of course!) in front of the sanctuary to sing Silent Night. We hope that you can join us for this service of hope, peace, joy, and love!
Christmas Eve | Livestream only @ 7:00 pm

Our Worship Team will celebrate from the Sanctuary with joyful song, scripture readings from our church members, a Children’s moment, videos and more! This will be livestreamed on Facebook, Youtube, and our website.
