This year, the Worship team will be using the theme “Forgiveness” for Lent. The Spiritual Growth Team will also follow the same theme and host two special book studies. You can choose do attend one or both!

Giving Up Something Bad for Lent by James W. Moore. Join us for a 6-week study, when we will explore the power of giving up destructive habits and attitudes to embrace the Good News of Easter.   Study times: Mondays starting March 10th at 6 PM (Library) with Karen Camp and Tuesdays starting March 11th at 10:30 AM (Fitzgerald Room) with Betty Smith.

Forgiveness: Finding Peace Through Letting Go by Adam Hamilton. Join us for a 4-week Bible study on forgiveness. Discover the freeing power of forgiveness and how letting go of resentment can bring peace to your life and transform your relationship with God and others.  Study times: Thursdays at 3 PM, starting March 13th (Library) with Pastor René.

Palm Sunday |  Sunday, April 13th at 9:30 AM Traditional Service (Livestream available)
We will have a very special service on Palm Sunday. Children and youth will pass out palms to people coming into the sanctuary and will process in front of the choir as we sing together. We will also be celebrating communion. Stay for fellowship and a time of making palm crosses.

Holy Thursday Dinner Church Potluck | April 17th 6:00 PM
There will be a sign up for this event. Please bring a dish to share and be prepared to share something of yourself with others at your table.  We will sing a couple of short hymns and celebrate Holy Communion with our table companions. At the end of the evening, we will have the opportunity to nail something we want to be rid of (pain, anger, fear, guilt, shame, resentment, etc.) to the cross. A hammer and nails will be provided.

Good Friday Service | Friday, April 18th at 6:30 PM (Livestream available)
We will have a 6:30 PM service, where Pastor René will be preaching.  The choir will also delight us with some beautiful music, even as we remember Jesus’ love-driven sacrifice from the cross. As we have done in years past, we will memorialize this day with an outdoor draped-in-black cross.

Easter Sunrise Service | Sunday, April 20th at 5:45 AM
Sunrise service at Nobska Point Lighthouse. We will celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead as the sun rises from the darkness on Easter morning!

Easter Celebration | Sunday, April 20h at 9:30 AM Traditional Service (Livestream available)
We will celebrate featuring special music by the handbell choir, brass instrumentalists, the adult choir, as well as an Easter message and song. There will be a special Easter children’s moment and Nursery Care will be available. Coffee and goodies will be available in the fellowship hall after the 9:30 service.
